The XLOOKUP is a function in both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. It requires three main components:

  1. What you are searching for

  2. A lookup array

  3. A result array


Using the XLOOKUP Function in Google Sheets

For example, you might want to find the country of some of the people that have won the Noble Peace price (using this data source).


We are interested in finding the country of the 7 people in the image below.

In this case, you can utilize the XLOOKUP formula to easily find and return the data.
