Duplicates can be a problem when working with data. There are many ways to find and highlight duplicates in Google sheets, but the most effective way is with conditional formatting.
To highlight duplicates in google sheets, there are two steps:
Highlight column with duplicates. In the example below B4:B15
Select "custom formula is" and add =COUNTIF($B$4:B,B4)>1
Change color within the formatting style section
